EVENT HOST/HOSTESS

Job Title: Volunteer Event Host/Hostess
Reports to: Activities Director and Volunteer Services Director

Summary:
Volunteer Event Host/Hostess is responsible for assisting with a selected HOA Event. The
Volunteer Host will work directly with the Activities Director to manage and coordinate the
event to assure a well-organized, successful result. Volunteer(s) receives free admission to
the event.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
*Attend planning meetings for the event
*Help in implementation of the event
*Understand and implement the payment, registration and ticket collection process
*Assist in greeting and checking in homeowners/guests for the event
*Meet and greet the entertainers and assist with their specific requirements
*Act as usher if necessary
*Remain in the building until the event is completed
*Be responsible for the exit of the performers and/or vendors
*Assist with any other duties as deemed necessary by Activities Director
*Receive and wear a special HR HOST name badge
